Secin group has been the first engineering company to implement the Jet Fans air ventilation system in Madrid, specifically in the Corazonistas basement car park, on the avenue Alfonso XIII of the capital. This particular ventilation and smoke control system, designed by Soler & Palau Ventilation Group, is based on the novel technique of longitudinal ventilation applied to the tunnels, allowing to extract the pollution and to evacuate the smoke quickly in case of fire, by means of the strategic installation of fans at air entry and exit points, thus generating the induction phenomenon and extracting the mass smoke to the outside.
A total of 18 TJHU fans have been installed in the Corazonistas Parking, of which 5 are tubular helical fans TJHU / 2 / 4-315 BC of 0.8 kW electrical power with a thrust of 25 Newtons capable of moving a flow each 4600 m3 / h, and 11 JET centrifugal fans for the IFHT-50N-N 4/8 drive of 1.1 kW electrical power with a maximum thrust of 50 N (newton) and a maximum flow of 5800 m3 / h. On the other hand, 7 CHGT extractors, four of them model CHGT-4-1000-3 / 20 of 5.5 kW of electrical power capable of moving a maximum air flow of 44427 m3 / h, another model CHGT- 6-900-3 of 1.5 kW of electrical power capable of moving a flow of 29448 m3 / h and a CHGT-4-710-7 / 22 extractor of 4 kW of electric power able to move a flow of 28711 m3 / h. All this spread over four floors with capacity for 339 parking spaces. In short, this range of helical and centrifugal Jet Fans are able to move large volumes of air in underground car parks and work immersed at 400ºC / 2h and 300ºC / 2h. They are also certified by Applus, the laboratory accredited by the Spanish Association of Fire Laboratories, according to EN 12101-3 / 2002.

Corazonistas Parking has a total of 342 parking spaces distributed in four garages floor, with different entries. The work was done in a record time of three months to be able to continue thus with the calendar and school activities.
